Henry C. Krempels is a writer and performance-maker. His essays and journalism have been commissioned by BBC Radio 4, The Observer, VICE, Newsweek and The Guardian, amongst others. He was the founder of Theatre Anima, based in London, a collective working in the realms of experimental theatre, who were interested in the relationship between ‘inner’ and ‘outer’. Their work was performed around the UK, achieving recognition in important media publications such as The London Review of Books, The Scotsman, and The Guardian. Additionally, have been acknowledged in academic form, notably in Performance Resistance and Refugees (Routledge, 2022).
